The government through the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) certifies Set Top Box (STB) devices that are ready to be used in Indonesia.There are 17 types of STB that are already legal in the country.STB devices are used to support the transition of analog TV broadcasts to digital.STB is needed if the TV used is not able to receive digital TV broadcasts, so additional equipment is needed to replace the radio antenna.Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G Plate appealed to the public to buy STB that has been certified by the Ministry of Communication and Information.Thus, the device can be confirmed to operate.If according to the schedule, the government will move analog TV broadcasts or Analog Switch Off to a maximum of November 22, 2022.
