According to Airtel's site, the Xstream box will now cost Rs 2,000. Its original price was Rs 3,999 but it was later reduced to Rs 2,499.

Buyers will get access to Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime, Sony Liv and other apps on buying a new Xstream box.

Reports suggest that the offer price is for a limited period of time. Interested buyers can get a new Xstream box online as well through authorised offline retailers.

The Xstream box runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based Android TV OS and through the Google Play Store has access to 5000+ Apps and Games. Popular streaming OTT apps can be installed along with the usual DTH functionality.

Included in the cost is the Airtel Xstream Set Top Box, the outdoor unit (dish antenna, wire), the remote, delivery and installation.

In order to avail the features of the Airtel Xstream Box including accessing OTT apps and online content, users have to keep their Airtel DTH account recharged with a minimal monthly amount.
